Annual Lenten Retreat 2016

Our annual Lenten retreat was held at the Mt. Carmel Spiritual Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario this past weekend. Our retreat master was Fr. Michael Loza, Pastor of St. Joseph Ukrainian Catholic Church in Oakville, Ontario. Besides the usual times of communal and personal prayer, Fr. Michael gave us wonderful spiritual talks, one which was a meditation of our Lord’s Passion based on the paintings of the Canadian artist, William Kurelek.  We were then able to visit the Niagara Falls Art Gallery to view the William Kurelek Collection [we highly recommend that if you find yourself in Niagara Falls, you ought to visit this Collection!].
